Focusing on darkness, the game removes your sight to enhance sound design and tension, leaving you never knowing what's around you. Uneasy happenings rise to a very disturbing sighting in a short amount of time, and replayability is a must. Different scares and events happen with certain interactions, such as leaving the front door open, the closet door open, or walking towards a noise. There is no handholding, and gameplay is about 20-30 minutes.
The story follows a world thrown into disarray with different creatures, disturbing sightings, and cosmic events flooding our very existence. You start to pray to a god, not thinking of who, and in answer to your prayers you get teleported into Salvation's land. But what or who answered your prayer?
Gameplay is simple: you walk around an isolated location, living through each day with more and more unease. The darkness obscures your screen, making you carefully walk slowly around the house, looking at the floor or for any lighting available. Your walk speed is influenced by your character's reactions or feelings, showing urgency or calmness when the time is right. You will be able to interact with objects, creatures, and other characters, and make choices that will affect the outcome of the game.
