About the game

Welcome to the Empire's Monster-Breeding Houses

As the head of one of the Empire's monster-breeding houses, your main responsibility is to create powerful hybrids that will bring wealth and fame to their owners through combat in the arena. With access to a vast collection of magical artifacts and potions, you have the ability to transform newborn creatures into formidable fighting beasts.

Breeding and Training

As your monsters grow and gain experience in the arena, they will develop inherited abilities or learn new ones. This is true for all mammal, reptile, and insect species found within the Empire, as each possesses at least one valuable trait. To further enhance these traits, you can launch expeditions in search of new species, although this comes with significant risk and financial cost.

Crossbred offspring will inherit their parents' physical characteristics and special abilities at random. However, you have the power to enhance their valuable traits with special feed, potions, blood infusions, rune stones, magic scrolls, and even organ implantation. Be careful not to intervene too much, as excessive manipulation can lead to abomination illness, reducing the creature's lifespan and making it temporarily unfit for combat.

Arena Combat

Combat in the arena is not always to the death. Non-lethal fights, while still profitable, do not bring in as much wealth. To increase your chances of success, you can hire warriors, archers, and mages to fight alongside your monsters. Each arena is unique and offers certain advantages and disadvantages that must be considered. Specialization and the right equipment can give you a significant edge in combat.

Expanding Your Business

To further improve your monster-breeding house, you have the option to hire a blacksmith or an alchemist, giving you access to a wider range of equipment and potions than what is offered by local merchants and annual fairs. You can also expand your base by constructing new buildings or upgrading existing ones.

However, be cautious with your finances. If you run into trouble, you can take out a loan, but the high interest rates could lead you into bankruptcy. Alternatively, you can undertake quests in hopes of special rewards, but be aware that your choices may lead you down a darker path.
