Characters
If you're a fan of series like Darkest Dungeon, X-COM, and Disciples, then you'll love the deep hero customization and career progression in Tenebris. With 5 basic classes to choose from at the start of your journey, you'll have the opportunity to develop your characters into 17 advanced classes as they gain experience. Each specialization has its own unique talent tree, allowing you to create truly unique characters within the same class.
The game also features a full inventory system, where you can find or purchase weapons, armor, and special equipment to not only improve your characters' basic stats, but also influence their talents and grant new abilities. Experiment with different talent combinations and equipment to create your own powerful and unique build, and conquer the world of Tenebris!
Monsters
The damaged hull of the Solaris ship is the least of the expedition's worries. As soon as they crash-landed, they were immediately attacked by huge bugs. These bugs are not only massive, fast, and aggressive, but they also have the ability to coordinate and strengthen each other through chemical signals. The more bugs there are, the more dangerous they become.
If you can defend the ship and establish a foothold in the insect-infested Misty Wasteland, you'll be able to explore other areas where the bugs are not as prevalent. But be warned, these new areas will require new abilities, different combat tactics, and possibly even bigger weapons.
Starship "Solaris"
The Solaris ship serves as your base and the only relatively safe place on the planet. Here, you can purchase weapons and armor, awaken new recruits from cryo-sleep, and send wounded heroes for treatment. Use the resources you find on missions to upgrade the ship's bays and expand your squad's capabilities.
In addition to the expedition commander and head of security, you'll also have the assistance of the chief doctor, leading engineer, and warehouse manager. Each crew member will have unique tasks for you to complete, which will reward you with additional resources and technologies to increase your chances of survival.
But be careful, resources are scarce and you'll have to fight for them on the planet. Choose wisely how you spend your limited resources.
