About the game
What is Starground?
Starground is a unique top-down automation dungeon crawler combo game. It offers players the opportunity to alternate between gathering and refining resources on their home planet, and venturing across space to fight through action roguelite-inspired dungeons. The game allows players to choose how they want to spend their time, with no right or wrong way to play. Every path will progress the story in its own way.
Multiplayer
Starground was designed with multiplayer in mind from the very beginning. Players can experience the full co-operative experience with as many friends as they'd like. Work together towards common goals or divide and conquer different parts of the game. However, for those who prefer to play alone, single player mode is also available.
Automation
In Starground, players can develop and maximize an island of resources through automation. They can progress through a research tree filled with unique machines and solutions to their logistical needs. Starting with basic manual tasks like mining and smelting, players can eventually build a powerful factory capable of handling any challenge.
Dungeons
If automation isn't your thing or you need to wait for your factory to produce, you can venture to other places in the solar system to explore and crawl through a variety of dungeons. Battle enemies, avoid obstacles, defeat bosses, and reap the rewards of your efforts. Resources collected from dungeons can be brought back to your factory, or used to craft modular weapons and make yourself stronger. Whether you prefer a spear, dual-bladed sword, or a gun on a stick, the choice is yours.
