Different Chess Rules
In this unique version of chess, the traditional rules have been altered to create a more dynamic and strategic gameplay experience. Instead of instantly taking each other out, the chess pieces now have a health pool that must be depleted by attacks before they can be eliminated from the board.
Control a Squad of Chess Pieces
Similar to traditional chess, you still have control over where your pieces move on the board. However, in this version, the pieces also have the ability to automatically attack opponents on their own. Along with the traditional pieces such as kings, bishops, and rooks, there are also new additions to the game:
- The crossbow and warlock are ranged units that can shoot projectiles from a distance.
- The wolf and bear are powerful beasts that deal heavy damage with their claws and bites.
Discover Hidden Loot
As you navigate through the game, you have the opportunity to find hidden treasures and loot. These can include gold, potions, and powerful weapons. Distribute these items among your chess pieces to increase their strength and armor.
At the start of each level, you have the chance to add a new chess piece to your group. Choose wisely and select units that work well together to maximize different synergies and skill sets.
Utilize Magical Healing Spells
In order to keep your army alive and thriving, you must use strategic healing spells and potions. Be sure to also move your chess pieces out of harm's way to avoid losing them in battle. It's important to note that the game only saves after a level is completed, so any pieces that have died during the level will be permanently eliminated from the game.
