About Passageway of the Ancients
Passageway of the Ancients is a unique CRPG that draws inspiration from classic games of the '90s and early 2000s. Immerse yourself in the world of Aieryon, the last magical planet in the galaxy, as you explore the city of Ithgar and unravel a heinous crime. With grief weighing heavy on your shoulders, you must navigate through deadly creatures, gather clues, manage your party, and level up your character. But that's not all - you'll also need to pick locks and solve Runic puzzles to obtain the best loot.
Story & Gameplay
The combat in Passageway of the Ancients is tough, complex, and always unpredictable. Drawing inspiration from historical weapons and tactics, the game features a sophisticated combat system. Each encounter begins paused, allowing you to strategize before jumping into real-time combat. You can pause again at any point during the fight, giving you full control over how you battle. Your approach to combat is entirely up to you.
Additionally, you'll have two personas to manage - a hidden "Dragonkindt" and a public-facing race of your choice (Dwarf, Elf, or Human). Both personas must be leveled up simultaneously, adding an extra layer of depth to the gameplay.

About Passageway Games
Passageway Games is a small studio based in Abilene, Texas, founded in 2014 by septuagenarians Jon Grierson and John Hendrick. The two first worked together 30 years ago on a medical device project, where Hendrick was impressed by Grierson's work ethic, creativity, and technical skills. With Grierson's 50 years of experience with RPGs, he approached Hendrick with the idea of collaborating on an indie game - and thus, Passageway Games was born.
