Luddite: A Turn Based Campaign Game with a Graphic Novel Twist
Join the 1,426 Kickstarter backers who helped bring this unique game to life! Luddite takes place in Yurushi, the largest city on Earth, where you play as a recently laid off engineer from the Niven Megacorporation. Like many others, you are forced to move back to the Saitama Slums, a desolate wasteland inhabited by the "useless classes" who have been replaced by artificial intelligence.
But all hope is not lost. You are recruited by the charismatic leader Red Ludd to join the Luddites, a resistance group fighting against the mass obsolescence caused by the adoption of AI. In Luddite, you and your team will use your engineering skills to hack into the automata and cripple their systems. It's a chance for revenge and a way to protect the millions of workers who are still at risk of losing their jobs.
But be warned, the mega corporations will not go down without a fight. Those caught sabotaging their systems will face harsh consequences. Luddite is a campaign game that follows the story of the graphic novel of the same name. With stunning artwork by Adam Beachey, Luddite can be played solo or with multiple players, cooperatively or competitively. The campaign can be reset and replayed endlessly, and there is no limit to the number of players who can join in.
