About the game

Lifecraft: A Unique Survival Game

Lifecraft is not your typical survival game. It takes you on a journey from a simple cell to a fully fledged organism, all while facing the challenges of evolution and external interferences. With endless gameplay possibilities, Lifecraft will keep you engaged and entertained for hours on end.

Features

  • Burn: Energy is crucial in Lifecraft. You must produce ATP, the energy stored in a battery, through glycolysis and mitochondrial respiration. This energy will be used to power building both inside and outside the cell.
  • Evolve: As you progress in the game, you will discover new elements of gameplay that will make your organism more complex and larger. From circulation to brain and neurons, evolution will bring new challenges and opportunities.
  • Grow: Starting as a small organism, you will need to expand to make room for more structures and access better resources. This can be done by expanding chunk by chunk and producing the required scaffold and tissue materials.
  • Supply: As your organism grows, microtubules won't be enough to transport materials between buildings. You will need a circulatory system with pumps, arteries, veins, and capillaries to supply and remove materials.
  • Defend: The outside world is full of dangers, from viruses and bacteria to fungi and parasites. You must use your immune system to defend against these threats and keep your organism safe.
  • Survive: Homeostasis is crucial for a stable organism. You must regulate temperature, oxygen, and pH to avoid perishing.
  • Heal: In case of wounds, your organism will need to heal through hemostasis and tissue regeneration.
  • Breathe: Cellular respiration requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide, which is why you will need respiratory tissue connected to your circulatory system.
  • Digest: As you progress in the game, you will need to digest more complex resources. This will require teeth, stomach, and intestine, as well as the synthesis of enzymes.
  • Dispose: Toxins and useless materials must be filtered out and disposed of through kidneys and other means.
  • Think: As your organism becomes more advanced, you may want to automate the management of subsystems. This is where neurons come into play, allowing you to set specific rules and make behavior automatic.
