About the game
We are in 1801 on an island called Gloria. It was once a beautiful kingdom thanks to the late King Edward, but everything changed when he passed away in 1791. Several generals of the kingdom's army began waging a civil war, and for the past 10 years, the Glorians have lost hope. You are the King's nephew, and the ruler of the Duchy of PortHeaven. Thanks to your administration, it is a place of peace and prosperity. You know you can conquer and bring back the glorious time of King Edward. It is time for you to conquer Gloria!
Customization is key to your success. Choose your army flag, the uniforms of your soldiers, and the equipment they will carry, such as haversacks, shakos, and cartridges. Choose your general's name and portrait. Personnalize your army and your game experience to make the army of your dreams!
The War Cabinet is where you start your campaign and return after each battle. It is a 3D map which allows you to move your army on different areas in order to conquer more territories. You will also manage your finances here, so be wise with your money, general! Your Aide de camp will be here to assist you.
You will command four types of units: the General, Infantry, Cavalry, and Artillery. The General will allow you to go on the field of battle thanks to the third person button. The General never dies and you can move it anytime and anywhere on the map. The Infantry is the master of the battlefield, and you can freely change the unit's formation. The Cavalry is the quickest unit on the battlefield and the most powerful when used wisely. The Artillery has the most powerful firepower, and you can ask for artillery support without the need to go and select the artillery units.
The interface is inspired by the best strategy games, and features an army counter, minimap, army panel, unit description, timer, news panel, and a panel which allows you to possess your general, command your artillery, and change the camera view. Each unit is linked to a panel which allows precise management.
