FLAAK TD: A Unique Tower Defense Game
FLAAK TD is not your average tower defense game. It takes place during the second World War, where Germany was constantly under attack by the British and US air force. As an Oberst in the Werhmacht, you are in charge of defending strategic sites such as factories, bridges, and battleships from enemy raids.
Enemies:
You will face waves of different types of bombers, including the SBD Dauntless armed with a 500 pound bomb, the powerful B26 Marauder, and the massive B17 heavy bomber, all equipped with 500 pound bombs. The light bombers are faster but cause less damage, while the medium bombers are slower but more destructive. If they successfully destroy a strategic site, the game is over for you, Oberst!
Defend Your Site:
Luckily, you have an arsenal at your disposal to defend your site. You can install light anti-aircraft guns like the FlakVierling 28 for rapid fire, but with a short range and low damage. For more powerful defense, you can use the Flak 88mm gun with a longer range and higher damage. And in dire situations, you can call in three powerful fighter planes, the Focke Wulf 190, from the nearest jagdgeschawader to take down all planes in front of them.
But be careful, as these defenses require resources. Make wise choices and manage your resources effectively to survive the raid. The more planes you shoot down, the more money and power you will receive to call in reinforcements. It is your duty to defend our factories at all costs against the allies' raids. In the midst of battle, it's easy to forget about repairs. But don't neglect them, as they are crucial to your success. Make sure to send in the repair team when needed to keep your defenses in top shape.
