The Battle System

Battles in Fantasy Kommander take place on a hexagonal map and are regulated by the complex proprietary tactical simulation system, "Archangelus." This system takes into account multiple factors such as terrain, zones of control, morale, orientation, combat fronts, offensive and defensive power, and the specific typology of each unit. Each battle allows players to deploy units, with each unit representing hundreds of soldiers. Unique units, such as heroes and dragons, also add to the strategic depth of the game.

The Storyline

The plot of Fantasy Kommander unfolds within four compelling campaigns that are narratively linked to each other. Players take on the role of a valiant general who finds themselves in the midst of a devastating war with unknown origins. As the story progresses, players will receive messages from Emperor Karl and the Grand Council of Mages, guiding them to discover a mysterious enemy plotting in the shadows.

The Heroes

Players will have the assistance of three mighty Heroes representing Humans, Elves, and Dwarves. These Heroes will stand by players' side as they face trials, challenges, and triumphs. Together, players will explore the great Empire of Adamantia, which has been invaded by the forces of Kaos. They will also venture into mysterious uncharted lands as they seek victory and freedom.

The Campaigns

Each campaign in Fantasy Kommander consists of multiple battles with primary and secondary objectives of escalating difficulty. As players progress, they will unlock victory levels determined by completing objectives within time limits. Achieving higher levels rewards players with gold, fame points, and various benefits such as unit upgrades, resurrection of fallen troops, new powers, and expanded recruitment options. After each battle, players can visit the encampment to level up their army.

Tactical Gameplay

Players must lead their troops strategically by deploying them before each battle, considering facing and movement options. Engage in melee and ranged combat, utilizing spells and missile weapons to gain an edge. With 32 special abilities, 32 spells, and six different races, the tactical possibilities in Fantasy Kommander are vast. However, players must remember that they can only move one unit at a time, and combat follows a strictly symmetrical turn-based approach. Adapt to these constraints and overcome the scripted challenges that lie ahead.
