The survival of your city depends on the population and economy. Running out of food and resources can be just as deadly as encountering a Dream Plague in the wild. Plan and construct automated production lines to keep your people housed, happy, and well-fed.

Survive and Flee

Fortify your city and defend it against raids for as long as possible. However, even the ancients could not withstand the Dream Plagues forever. The longer you stay, the stronger they become. But unlike the ancients, you have the ability to escape by taking your entire city and flying away when things get too rough.

Balance Expansion and Disposable Buildings

Your city's area is limited, so you must carefully balance between expensive long-term upgrades to expand your city and constructing disposable infrastructure that can be left behind. Choose wisely which buildings to take with you and which you can live without, at least for a while.

Resources are scarce, and you will need a lot of them to turn your city into a self-sufficient empire. Luckily, you can always move to a new area when you've depleted the resources around you. Each biome offers a variety of procedurally generated landing areas with different resources, opportunities, and challenges to discover and exploit.

The wilderness is teeming with Dream Plagues, making it dangerous to explore on foot. Take control of a customizable Steambot and navigate the world in real-time action. Upgrade, equip, and customize your Steambot to fit your preferred playstyle.

Uncover Ancient Ruins and Mysteries

The world is filled with ancient ruins and enigmatic mysteries. As you fly and land in different areas, you will stumble upon these places and uncover their secrets. Through story missions, you will also learn about the history and lore of this strange world.

Research, Craft, and Upgrade Your Infrastructure

The ancients possessed advanced Dream-Tech, most of which has been lost to time and the Dream Plagues. In your flying city, you can build advanced research facilities and unlock some of these secrets. This will grant you access to advanced buildings and new crafting recipes for your Steambot.

Upgrading your infrastructure provides permanent bonuses and abilities that cater to your preferred playstyle. Use your hard-earned upgrade points to enhance your Steambot's combat prowess, defend against enemy raids, or improve your administrative and economic abilities to create a thriving, prosperous city.
