Desperate Place is a thrilling space sci-fi themed base-building tower defense game. In the year EC3040, humanity has expanded beyond Earth and begun to colonize new planets. During a journey to the KOI 7711.01 planet, a colony ship is hit by a powerful ion beam wave from a red giant star, causing a leak in its fuel compartment. The ship is forced to land on an unknown planet, where it must search for helium-3 to repair the damage and continue its mission. However, every time the ship collects helium-3, it is attacked by unknown creatures on the planet. To reach their destination, players must quickly build a small base to defend against these relentless enemies.

Build - Resources are the Key to Survival

As the commander, you must use the limited resources available to construct a base capable of completing the mission. Building on the desolate surface of an alien planet is no easy task. It requires careful planning of the base layout and strategic placement of resource extraction stations and research facilities. To defend against the creatures, players must also construct defensive structures such as towers, traps, and obstacles that take advantage of the terrain to slow down enemy advances.

Dangerous - Overcoming Fear with Firepower

Overcome your fear of the unknown creatures with superior firepower. The game offers a variety of defensive towers, each with its specific range and damage type. Players must strategically place these towers to form a crossfire network and maximize damage output. As the game progresses, enemies will become stronger and more diverse, so players must continuously adapt and upgrade their defenses to defeat them.

Strategizing - Never Settle for the Status Quo

To complete the mission, players must utilize all available resources, including barriers, towers, traps, and even themselves and their trusty robot companion. However, even when players feel temporarily safe, they must never settle for the status quo. The planet's unpredictable weather can disrupt established defense plans at any time. Players must show no mercy to the monsters on this planet and constantly strategize to overcome any obstacles in their way.
