30 Unique Champions to Unlock and Play With
In CardScrawl, players have access to 30 unique champions, each with their own powerful ultimate ability. However, not all champions are created equal. Some may be more challenging to use and require calculated decisions. It's up to the player to find the right mix of creatures, enchantments, and spoils to successfully navigate the dark halls of the Tower.
A Variety of Creatures from Popular Fantasy Universes
From orcs, goblins, and imps to dragons, jabberwocks, and mind flayers, CardScrawl features a diverse range of creatures from popular fantasy universes. The possibilities are endless, making each game a unique experience.
The Game Board: Where Magic Happens
The game board is where all the action takes place in CardScrawl. Players use mana to summon creatures onto the board, and each turn, their creatures will automatically move towards the opponent's end. It's up to the player to strategically use their creatures offensively or defensively. But beware, if an opponent's creature reaches the end of the board, it will attack your health points directly!
Enhance Your Creatures with Enchantments
Players can also employ a second enchantment deck, filled with powerful spell cards that can enhance their creatures' combat abilities. Enchantments come in various forms, including horizontal, vertical, random, chain, and board-wide effects. It's crucial to analyze the game board and choose the best move to gain the upper hand.
Choose Your Spoils Wisely
At the end of each match, players can choose a spoil to permanently upgrade their champion. These spoils must be selected carefully, as they should complement the champion's ultimate ability and current deck strategy. It's a test of decision-making skills, and players must choose wisely to succeed in CardScrawl.
