Monument Village is a unique turn-based game that allows you to build and manage your own medieval village. Begin on a pristine island and watch your village grow as you construct one building per turn. Each building produces resources at the end of each turn, allowing you to expand and develop your village.
Gameplay
The key to success in Monument Village is strategic building placement. Each building has its own bonuses and penalties, which are affected by its neighboring buildings. Take your time to carefully plan and choose where to place each building.
As your village produces resources, you will gain knowledge and unlock new innovations. These innovations offer a variety of bonuses and new buildings to choose from. With so many options, each playthrough will be unique and challenging.
Occasionally, you will receive requests for specific resources to be delivered. While you must fulfill these requests, you will have time to adapt and prepare.
Once your village and economy have grown enough, you can finally build your dream monument. There are four different monuments to choose from, each with its own unique requirements and resources.

Story
You play as a talented architect, determined to build the grand monument that has been sitting on your desk for far too long. However, land is expensive and you need a place to build it.
After searching for days, you strike a deal with a wealthy merchant named Tessa. She owns an island with enough space for your project. Without much thought, you accept her conditions.
Little did you know, there were some hidden terms in the contract. The island is remote and untouched, meaning you must find a way to attract workers and gather resources. Looks like it's time to learn how to manage a village!
But that's not all. Until your monument is completed, Tessa can request any resource from you and you must comply. Fail to do so and she will kick you off the island. And the longer it takes for you to finish your project, the more resources she will demand.
