Whispers in The Void is a first-person psychological thriller that takes place in a mysterious mental hospital. The game world is filled with anomalies that will try to harm the player, creating a genuine sense of horror.

Storyline

The game begins with the protagonist, John Eikts, awakening in a foreboding facility. He soon discovers that the facility is designed to contain supernatural entities with unimaginable abilities. However, a catastrophic event causes the anomalies to break free and wreak havoc.

As Eikts explores the facility, he witnesses the aftermath of the anomalies' rampage. The once-secure cells are now destroyed, and the bodies of facility personnel are scattered throughout. Eikts must navigate the labyrinthine halls, avoid the remaining anomalies, and escape the nightmarish facility.

Throughout his journey, Eikts uncovers the dark history of the facility and the experiments conducted to control the anomalies. He finds fragmented documents and audio logs that hint at his own involvement in the experiments, raising questions about his forgotten past.

As Eikts gets closer to freedom, the anomalies seem to be actively hunting him. He experiences inexplicable phenomena and begins to question his sanity. Distorted visions and whispers from unseen forces haunt him, blurring the line between reality and nightmare.

In a shocking twist, Eikts discovers a hidden chamber that reveals the truth: he is not a victim, but an anomaly himself.

Anomalies

The anomalies in the hospital will haunt and torment the player. They will follow their every move, play tricks on their mind, and try to attack them. The reason for their haunting is unknown, and the player must uncover the truth on their own.

Gameplay

In Whispers in The Void, the player is not defenseless. They may come across weapons that can help them defend against the entities. The player can also interact with the environment and search for items that may aid in their escape or further immerse them in the nightmare.
