Wandering Reclamation Militia
Mankind's thirst for scientific advancement has led us down a dangerous path. We stumbled upon a forbidden energy source, promising unlimited power. It seemed like a dream come true - faster transportation, more efficient home power, and advanced military capabilities. But we were blinded by its allure and soon it was everywhere, infecting us all.
Now, humanity struggles to survive in smaller settlements with dwindling resources. The use of gunpowder is a rarity, forcing us to turn to alternative sources such as steam power, natural lighting, and liquid nitrogen. Coal, once abundant, is now as valuable as gold. The surface, once filled with trees, is now a toxic wasteland due to the radiation from the energy source. Our only hope lies in anthracite, a powerful but scarce resource.
As a member of the Wandering Reclamation Militia, your mission is to scavenge for resources to keep the city's energy running. You will venture into the old world - the towns, industries, and settlements that have been destroyed. Your settlement's survival depends on your success.
