The Gravedigger: A Unique Adventure Game

You have been hired to work as a helper at a local church. Your job is to dig up graves on the premises and loot them for their valuables. One day, while digging, you come across some burnt bones buried with a body. You are curious about them, but continue with your work. However, while sleeping, you are confronted by a demonic presence at the church, who claims the bones belong to them and demands their return. You are also instructed to place any interesting findings on the altar for the reverend. Perhaps finding all the burnt bones will put an end to the demonic activity? What could possibly go wrong?

During your play-through, you will need to dig up three graves each night in order to sleep and start the next day. To win the game, you must find and return six burnt bones to the mausoleum or altar. Each grave you dig up will contain valuables that you can sell to the reverend for a cut of the profits the following morning. Some graves may also have compartments that require a lockpick, which can be purchased from the in-game website, Paranormal Pantry.

In order to purchase items from the Paranormal Pantry, you will need to collect money. These items will help you defend yourself against the demonic presence and can also be used to upgrade your abilities in the game. You can choose to have items delivered the next day or pay a higher price for instant delivery. As the demonic activity increases, parts of the church may become corrupted. This corruption will make the demon stronger over time. If it becomes too strong, it can manifest itself and kill you. You must deal with the corruption by using items purchased from the Paranormal Pantry as soon as you see it.

After digging up three graves each night, you will be able to sleep and receive payment for your plundering. However, each time you sleep, the demon will grow stronger. It is up to you to decide how many graves you want to dig for valuables or if you want to focus on finding all of the missing burnt bones. With up to 72 active grave sites, you will need to use items from the Paranormal Pantry and gather clues to determine which graves may contain the desecrated bones. There is no saving in the game, so if you are killed or restart, you must start from the beginning. You can choose from three difficulty levels: Standard, Hard, and Nightmare.

Your ultimate goal is to collect all of the missing burnt bones from the Mausoleum to stop the demonic activity and win the game. Along the way, you will need to solve puzzles, riddles, and clues to uncover which graves hold the missing bones. Completing the main story and hidden stories will unlock two different endings, which can be achieved on any difficulty. Remember to dig up and loot three graves each night to fulfill your job requirements, deposit any valuables you find, and collect your pay the next morning. Use your money to purchase items and upgrades to help prevent demonic activity and stop corruption from growing at the church. If you fail to get rid of the corruption, you will lose the game.
