About the game
HearsayLegend has it that in ancient times, Gonggong was defeated by Zhurong. In a fit of rage, he damaged Buzhou Mountain with a powerful smash, causing the pillar holding up the heavens to break. This resulted in a great flood and much suffering. Unable to bear the loss of life, Nüwa gathered and melted stones to mend the sky. However, in the process, four magical Sparks were created with the powers of fire, thunder, cold, and poison. These Sparks were scattered in all directions on the earth, with the Fire Spark landing in the West Pasha Kingdom, the Thunder Spark in the Great Grassland, the Cold Spark in the Kunlun Mountains, and the Poison Spark in South Jiange. These four Sparks possessed varied magics, and if gathered together, their power would be beyond measure. Thus, for a long time, bold strifes and cunning struggles have endlessly taken place in order to obtain them.
In the early years of the Tang dynasty, Yuwen Jingzhe and his fellow apprentices of the Kunlun Sect practiced swordsmanship and techniques among the snow-capped mountains of the Western Regions. However, their tranquility was disrupted by the arrival of MangZi, a small witch from the Moonwatcher clan in NanZhao. It was discovered that during the Mid-autumn Festival, a strange phenomenon occurred in the sky, with a Blood Moon appearing. This caused a commotion in the northwest boundary of the Moon Ward, which was noticed by the Shadowmoon master in the clan through a sacrifice ritual. Urgently, the disciples were ordered to go to the Kunlun Sect and seek the help of its head, Taiyan Zhenren, to deal with the crisis. At the request of Taiyan Zhenren, the head disciple, Yuwen Jingzhe, packed his belongings and bid farewell to the sect. He then journeyed downhill with the little witch MangZi, in hopes of pacifying the increasing unease in the Moon Ward boundary. But why was this usually untouchable boundary suddenly stirred up?
