If you die after a certain level, there is a death penalty (you do not lose XP, levels, or items, but instead receive a small amount of XP debt). Questing is not a big part of Stash, but there are quest-type activities (called tasks). Crafting and Merchants are big parts of the game, and your BOO is a major aspect of character progression. There is no Auction House, but every player has their own merchant stall and can advertise items in the newspapers. The world will grow based on player actions, and there are many unique game mechanics rarely or never seen in other MMOs.
