SHINORUBI: A Unique Bullet Hell Style Game

In SHINORUBI, the center of your craft is the only vulnerable spot. Avoid enemy fire and destroy anything that stands in your way to complete your mission.

Classic/Original Mode

Complete all 5 levels with 3 starting lives to pass the 1CC (credit clear) challenge. You can add credits to help you finish the game. With 5 difficulty levels, including an easy mode with auto-bomb, and the ability to cancel enemy shots by destroying the shooter, this mode offers a classic and challenging gameplay experience.

Boss Rush Mode

In this mode, you will only face off against bosses. Choose from 3 levels of difficulty and put your skills to the test.

Scoring System

The scoring system in SHINORUBI is based on several parameters that provide point multipliers. Survive the enemy fire, destroy your enemies, and collect stars and medals while using your bombs sparingly to earn the highest score.

Worldwide Leaderboard & Achievements

Compete with players from around the world on the Steam Leaderboards for each game mode. You can also track your personal scores per mode and earn Steam Achievements.

Fever Mode

When your FEVER charge bar is full, it will automatically trigger to cancel enemy shots and improve your points. You will also have boosted weaponry and improved bonus stars when destroying enemies.

Controls and Display

Play SHINORUBI using a keyboard, joystick, or arcade controller. You can also use Steam Remote Play and customize all the action buttons to your liking.

With its in-house super optimized, multi-threaded engine, SHINORUBI is not your average 2D shoot 'em up game. It is a full-grade PC game optimized for Ultra HD, with uncapped frame-rate support, super resolution support, and 8K textures. A Direct3D API Level 11 video card or Vulkan 1.1 is required to play.

Arrange Mode

This mode offers the same game levels as the classic mode but with different rules.

Special Abilities

• Shield: Use a shield to protect against enemy bullets.
• Cancel: Destroy marked spaceships to clear all shots on the screen.
• Laser/Shot: Alternate between laser and classic shots only when instructed.
• Journey: Get ready for a long journey with several game loops.
• Pink Pig: Collect pesky pigs before they leave the screen while shooting enemies.
• Super Rank: The better you play, the higher the difficulty will increase.

The Story of SHINORUBI

For 1000 years, the BAÄA family has ruled as despots on planet SHINORUBI. This planet is the source of the "R-R" substance, which grants infinite power and exceptional longevity to its owners. For 150 years, the king of SHINORUBI, R.LOYD III, and his 6 sons have waged war across space against the TRADDESS and ZOOGT empires, leaving his cruel daughter Nemesis and 5 generals to guard the planet.

But now, an alliance of 8 experienced mercenaries has formed to put an end to the BAÄA family's dictatorship and their control over the "R-R" compound. They plan to take advantage of a singularity that occurs on the planet once every thousand years. As the endless night falls on Kaddin, the capital of SHINORUBI, spaceships approach, ready for battle.
