About the game
This is the horrific and dramatic story of 2024.
The game is based on a true story, but all names and events are fictional and any similarities to real life are purely coincidental.
The man was traveling by train with his kitten, Twiks, whom he was taking to its future home. Twiks had a collar and a special "pet" train ticket.
On January eleventh, Twiks managed to escape from its traveling cage and went exploring. The conductor noticed the kitten when the train made a stop in Kirov. She assumed it was a stray and threw it outside the train, not realizing it was 30 degrees below zero. Over 300 people searched for Twiks.
Unfortunately, Twiks was found dead, covered in snow not far from the train tracks on January 20th. Volunteers who found the kitten reported that it had been attacked and killed by dogs.
Deeply moved by this tragic event, I decided to create a game that would cover difficult topics such as:
- Loss of loved ones
- Irreversibility of traumatic events
- Careless people
- Emptiness and fear of loneliness
You will be immersed in the cold and dark world of "Save Twiks" and search for answers to questions such as:
- Did you have a chance to save poor kitten Twiks, or was its fate already sealed?
- What caused this tragedy - a terrible accident or deliberate evil?
- How would you react if faced with these events?
You will experience the harsh reality of a small Russian town, covered in snow. The train is stuck on the tracks, frozen in time. Someone's destiny awaits among the countless train cars.
As you explore the gloomy train cars, you will meet and interact with other passengers, living through their personal tragedies and horrors. Will you be able to endure this unimaginable horror and change the course of this tragic story?
