The concept of Kosherness plays a significant role in Sancticide. All items and beings are categorized as either Kosher (acceptable for Them at The Top) or unkosher (unacceptable). This not only affects the flow of sidequests but also impacts relationships between enemy units, Ezechiel, and NPCs. It also influences equipment choices and player progression mechanics, as players must collect and reforge unkosher items to progress and access certain areas.
