About the game
We, as human beings, are constantly reminded that nothing in this world is permanent. We are born into this world and eventually, we will leave it. Our existence is fleeting, and the time in between these events is what we consider to be our greatest happiness, our paradise on earth.
But what lies beyond this world? What happens after we take our last breath? The World of Agony is a third-person action-thriller game set in a fictional world between life and death. It is a place where those who have passed on must face their final test before moving on. The task is to light fires and guide their souls back to the world of the living.
The World of Agony may seem familiar, as it is based on the memories of those who have died. However, there are hidden differences that make this world unique. It is filled with lost souls who are trapped and unable to move on. Some may be dangerous, while others may need your help.
As the main character, Katya, in Relieve: Desolation, you find yourself alone on the streets of your small town. Suddenly, you wake up in the basement of an apartment building. As you try to make sense of your surroundings, you can't help but feel that everything looks different than it should.
With each passing moment, you notice more and more strange occurrences. Voices seem to come out of nowhere, and you feel a strange thirst that consumes your entire body. It is up to Katya to uncover the truth behind this place and how she ended up there.
The game is currently being developed by a dedicated group of individuals who have been working on it since 2016. Throughout the years, the project has undergone many changes, but our passion for sharing the World of Agony and the stories of those facing their final test in life has never wavered. We hope to bring you an unforgettable experience and a glimpse into the unknown.
