The World of 2050

In this future, we have failed to reduce carbon emissions, leading to devastating consequences. As sea levels rise and desertification spreads, inhabitable areas continue to increase. The shocking submersion of a leading developed country in 2032 finally prompts the world to take action.

That's when the Environmental Organization (EO) was established. This independent global agency has the power to enforce measures on environmental issues, such as regulating pollution, restoring nature, and improving living conditions for environmental refugees.

But despite EO's efforts, the situation only worsens. The number of environmental refugees rapidly increases, and the organization finds itself solely focused on resolving their housing issues. But it's not just homes that are threatened. The breakdown of the ecosystem's cycle has made growing crops increasingly difficult, leading to a severe food crisis.

In 2038, HR Company introduces SOL-A Capsules, a food substitute that provides a full day's meal in a single capsule. As conventional crops become more difficult to grow and food prices skyrocket, the capsules offer a solution. However, their introduction stirs up controversy.

As the world becomes more unstable, the CEO of Won-Kang Construction decides to take matters into his own hands and build his own tower, the Ark. Despite opposition, the construction plan is approved, with the promise to house some environmental refugees securing the permit.

But as a player, you live an ordinary life in these extraordinary times. And in this world, even something as simple as eating becomes a crucial task.
