STORY
In a world ravaged by constant wars, a Queen from a distant nation seeks to bring peace by harnessing a power from another world. However, when she loses control of this power, the world is plunged into a catastrophic event known as "despair". Those who lose all hope become mindless monsters known as the "hopeless", while those with strong wills lose their physical bodies but retain their souls. Play as one of these "flames of hope" chosen by a mysterious being to banish the despair and restore balance to the world.
GAMEPLAY
As the light of hope in a world consumed by darkness, your goal is to progress through each stage by fighting the hopeless, collecting hopes, and overcoming various obstacles. With RPG elements and horror vibes, this 3D real-time action game focuses on melee combat. Use different abilities to defeat bosses and choose between healing or using your ultimate ability to end fights quickly. Be careful to evade or block enemies' attacks, especially the unblockable (pink) ones. Keep an eye out for enemies hiding in the darkness, indicated by their red eyes, and watch your positioning to avoid blind spots.
Throughout your journey, you will encounter various obstacles such as "despair walls" that can be overcome by kindling a nearby "vessel" or using your ultimate ability. Other barriers, like the "claw of the other one", can be bypassed by evading or dashing. Timing and careful navigation will be crucial in overcoming these challenges. Even the darkness itself will hinder your progress, so pay attention to colors, effects, and movements to anticipate and avoid obstacles.
