Design Philosophy

At FRM, we strive to provide a one-of-a-kind sandbox experience for our players. Our game focuses on bringing the management aspect of the motorsport world to life through a challenging simulation. As the leader of a racing team, you will navigate a dynamically changing racing world while also respecting your time.

Dynamic Seasons

Our seasons are dynamic, quick, and exciting. You will have the opportunity to take on one of ten teams in the most prestigious motorsport competition. Each season, you will need to carefully select suppliers and secure new sponsors, as these may change over time. Additionally, teams may even decide to sell their team to new suppliers and sponsors, bringing new names into the competition.

Drivers and Staff

The backbone of your team will be your drivers and staff. However, they will also develop and hone their skills over time and eventually retire. When this happens, you can choose to give the newcomers a new name and nationality, or let their names be reincarnated into the talent pool.

Putting the Manager into the Manager Genre

In FRM, you won't spend most of your time babysitting your drivers on the track. After all, you have a race engineer for that. Instead, you will focus on planning the race weekend and giving your team direction on what to focus on and the level of risk you want them to take with their strategy.

This game is all about car development, financial management, selecting the right staff and drivers, and strategizing to get your team to the top of the world.

In-Game Editor

For even more customization, FRM offers an In-Game Editor. You can change teams, drivers, sponsors, suppliers, and more to make the game truly your own. You can even upload your creations to the workshop for others to experience!

What This Game is Not

We believe in being transparent with our players, so here are a few things that FRM is not:

• This game does not offer a modeled race simulation. The races are simulated in the background and you will receive the results. This is not something that will be added in the future.
• This is not a detailed car simulation. The car stats and development are more gamified, so you don't need any knowledge about aerodynamics or engine mechanics to play.
• FRM is not a AAA polished game. As a solo developer, I am doing my best to bring my vision to life within my abilities. If it were a AAA game, it would also be much more expensive.
