About the game
The festival is here and the music is everywhere, getting louder as the main event approaches. But it's too much for you, and you're tired of it. You've decided to seek a way out, and Playable Misophonia is the answer. DETUNED is a bizarre game based on personal experiences with sensitivity to noise, turning classic rhythm gameplay on its head. Instead of hitting the notes of a song according to its beat, you need to avoid a randomly generated series of notes. But running around trying to avoid pain isn't socially accepted, so you have a job as a pearl collector. Every time you arrive in an area, a pearl might be hiding in the scenery. Attention and constant movement will be the keys to your survival. Twisted remixes make every session of DETUNED different, with gameplay changes and the chance to choose how to suffer. You might be able to obtain items to increase your chances of survival, but only if you have collected enough pearls. There are 8 different endings depending on which special items you manage to get. Audiovisual insanity is created with dreamlike images and distorted recordings of random everyday noises. You can play with the mouse, the keypad or the keyboard numbers, and pick the option that makes your fingers hurt less. Reach at least 6 endings to unlock the song editor and produce your own creations of pure acoustic torture. Having the save files of previous entries on the “ApeHardware’s Playable Freakshow” bundle will unlock a bonus item for each game.Game requirements
