About the game

In times of crisis, our natural instinct is to rely on others to take charge. But what happens when you are the one facing a crisis and those around you simply watch and continue on with their day? Sometimes, you may be able to survive until the end of the day, but other times, the outcome may not be so fortunate. In these moments, the choice may be in your hands or left to chance. What will be your fate? This concept is explored in the game Broad Daylight, created by Vagus Truman. Unlike traditional horror games, this game challenges common tropes by placing the horror in a lack of identity and control, and setting the game in a brightly lit environment. As the player, you take on the role of a character who becomes the victim of a random killing while going about their daily routine. Each ending and insight into the character's being is left for the player to discover as they navigate the world. The game can be completed in approximately 10 to 45 minutes, depending on the player's choices. The options for volume and graphics settings are determined by the engine's default settings, ranging from Low to Ultra graphics, with a master audio slider for control. The gameplay itself is a simple walking simulator, with a dialogue system in place to allow the player to immerse themselves in the mindset of the character as they explore the small world.
