The game also comes with a PC Trainer, a support tool with a range of quality functions. The trainer version is 1.0.2 and it works with all versions of the game. To use the program, unzip the archive, run the Trainer and click the game icon to open the game. You can access the options by pressing the F4 key.

About the game
Experience a retro first-person shooter like no other with AMID EVIL! Completely rebuilt from the ground up for virtual reality, you have been chosen as the champion to reclaim sacred weapons and take back ancient lands. This game features seven distinct episodes, each with its own unique settings and enemies, an eight-hour campaign with twenty-one levels and seven intense boss fights.
You can use ludicrous magical weaponry that can be overcharged with the souls of the dead and used in either hand. Hack and slash demons to pieces, or blow them to bits with an arsenal of weapons including a planet launcher. Enemies have brutal and adaptive AI that will hunt you down on land, sea and air. Explore sprawling non-linear levels filled with secrets and ancient lore. There are multitudes of comfort options and cheats for a truly golden experience.
The game is built in Unreal Engine 4 for cutting edge visuals, even if they are a bit retro. This is not some half-baked version of AMID EVIL ported to VR, this is the real deal. An epic original and dynamic soundtrack composed by Andrew Hulshult completes the experience.
