About the game
Aculeata is a unique game, inspired by classic platformers and RPGs from the early 199x era. However, it has one unusual feature - the absence of conflict resolution by violence. This has completely reshaped the world, and typical combat practices and weaponry no longer make sense. Instead, fights have been reimplemented in a new way.
Aside from interactions with monsters, the gameplay is fairly standard: explore the world, jump, climb, fall, talk to NPCs, complete quests, and collect items. Some objects, such as boxes, are movable - you can pick them up, carry them, and put them in place. For example, you can use them to build a ladder and reach otherwise inaccessible locations.
Monsters can pick you up and carry you, just like a box. You can do the same to them, but you must grab them from behind. You can also jump on top of a monster and use it as a moving platform, or make it throw you in the desired direction.
