TOKYO DRIVE is an exciting racing game that utilizes the location information of real roads and buildings in Tokyo, Japan. The game allows players to experience the thrill of driving on an open-world map that accurately reproduces the layout of Tokyo's 23 wards.
Features:
- Most of the roads in Tokyo's 23 wards are faithfully reproduced.
- Explore the vast Tokyo Metropolis, covering approximately 600 square kilometers.
- Fast travel function available for convenient navigation.
- Experience a day and night cycle, from morning to night.
- Become familiar with the streets and landmarks of Tokyo's 23 wards.
- Playable on non-high spec PCs, including those with integrated graphics.
Reproduction of Roads and Buildings:
Some features may not be fully reproduced in the game:
- Bridges and overpasses are not included.
- The elevation and topography of roads and buildings are not reproduced (all roads are flat).
- Due to the lack of mountainous areas in Tokyo, there are no plans to support this feature at this time.
- The size of buildings is as close to the actual size as possible.
- The location, size, and names of roads and buildings are accurate at the time of positioning, but may differ from the latest information.
- The appearance of roads, ground, and buildings are automatically set and may differ from the actual ones. Only the location and size of roads and buildings are reproduced.
- The names of buildings are primarily sourced from public institutions, such as schools, stations, police stations, fire stations, and post offices.
- Information from MLIT Japan's Project PLATEAU is used for accuracy.
Remarks:
At the time of Early Access, the game only allows players to drive. However, there are plans to add various functions and improvements in the future.
