Welcome to Yuzhnogorsk: A College Town Full of Mysteries and Adventures

Located in the southern part of the country, Yuzhnogorsk is a peaceful university town nestled among the rolling hills and majestic mountains. Unlike most places, winter here only lasts for a week, while summer shines for a glorious six months. It is in this town that our protagonist, Maxim Anisimov, a prospective student from Siberia, has come to pursue his studies.

But Max's goals go beyond just academics. He is also on a mission to find his childhood friends who ran away from home three years ago. In his quest, he will discover more about the town and its inhabitants. Yuzhnogorsk has many stories to tell, from the graffiti queen of the local anticafe to the mysterious disappearance of the town's best pianist. And perhaps, Max will even uncover the truth about the enigmatic theater master his friends were searching for, known as 'The Master of the Given Circumstances'.

And what better place to experience the excitement of first love than in a college town where summer never ends?

The Game Demo and Its Prologue

The game demo of 'Young Hearts' includes two and a half chapters of the prologue, which introduces the main characters and sets the stage for the story. The full version of the game will consist of four different stories, each focusing on one of the girls who are friends with Max. The reader's choices will determine which story they will learn more about and how their adventures with Max will unfold. Currently, two stories are complete, and two more are in development, which will be included in the purchased copy of the game.

Meet the Main Characters

Forte and her 'Youth-Adolescence'

Anya Fortova, also known as Forte, is a first-year architecture student and Max's classmate. With her blue eyes and boundless energy, she is always ready to explore the streets of Yuzhnogorsk on her skateboard. Her friend Nika, a pianist, has revealed that Forte is also a talented singer. Like Max, she also came to Yuzhnogorsk from another town a few years ago, but she is not quick to share her past. Perhaps Max will learn more about her during their walks together.

Forte's story, 'Youth-Adolescence Beyond the Northern Snow', has three possible endings and a reading time of approximately 4-6 hours.

'The Ocean' written by Kathrin Richter

Kathrin Richter, a first-year journalism student from Germany, is another classmate of Max's at Yuzhfed. She is often lost in her thoughts and enjoys spending time alone, observing people and gathering inspiration for her writing. But a year ago, she used to hang out with the group of friends at the 'To Samoe' anticafe, playing board games and exploring the town. However, things have changed, and Kathrin now prefers to keep to herself. Will Max be able to uncover the reason behind her solitude?

Kathrin's story, 'The Black Hearts Ocean', has three possible endings and a reading time of approximately 6-9 hours.

Stories in Development: Nika and Dasha

Two more stories are currently in development, and they will feature two more heroines of the game—pianist Veronika Sennhova and Max's childhood friend, artist Dasha Grafova. These stories will delve deeper into the history of Yuzhnogorsk, its theater and jazz scene, and perhaps even reveal the truth about Max's missing friends. The team behind 'Young Hearts' is working hard to complete these stories, and updates will be provided on the release of the full version of the game.
