The Last Guardians of Gaia

As a werewolf, you are a shapeshifter, a mystic, a hero, and a monster. Created by Gaia, you have the ability to shift between human and wolf forms. Your purpose is to protect the Earth from humanity's destructive actions.

But despite your best efforts, you have failed.

The Fall of Broad Brook

Three years ago, werewolf packs joined forces as a Sept in Broad Brook, Massachusetts to fight against the Wyrm. While other Septs fell to the Wyrm or succumbed to internal conflicts, Broad Brook thrived. Some believed they would be the ones to prevent the Apocalypse.

However, one night, a powerful Wyrm Spirit known as "the Answering Tiger" destroyed the Broad Brook Sept and corrupted its caern. It was later revealed that the Sept had never truly been thriving. The Tiger had deceived the werewolves, causing them to turn against each other and ultimately destroy themselves. The Wyrm Spirit had also enlisted the help of monstrous Banes, fomori, and even werewolves who had pledged their allegiance to the Wyrm.

Rebuilding and Seeking Redemption

Now, the Stormcat, once the Patron Spirit of the Broad Brook Sept, has called upon you to rebuild a new pack from the survivors and take revenge against the Answering Tiger. In the wilds of New England, you must forge your own legend.

Build Your Pack

As you search for survivors and rebuild the werewolf nation, you must be cautious. Not all werewolves can be trusted, especially those consumed by Rage or those who have lost their connection to the Wolf.

Survive the Wilds

As an exile, you must rely on your own survival skills. You will face harsh conditions and must seek shelter, form alliances with spirits and humans, and make difficult decisions to stay alive.

Unleash Your Rage

As a werewolf, you are a powerful weapon of Gaia, capable of unleashing your Rage to defeat your enemies. But you must use it wisely, or risk being consumed by it.

Customize Your Character

In "Werewolf: The Apocalypse — The Book of Hungry Names," you have the option to play as a male, female, or nonbinary character. You can also befriend or romance werewolves and humans of any gender.

Additionally, you can choose your auspice (moon-sign) and your werewolf tribe: Bone Gnawer, Child of Gaia, Glass Walker, Shadow Lord, or Silver Fang. Each tribe has its own unique abilities and strengths.

Claim your territory and heal the spirits there to unlock powerful Gifts that allow you to summon animals, see into the past, or enter the spirit world.
