About the game
Have you ever heard of Turtle Soup? It's a popular type of Lateral Thinking Puzzlers that originated in the East, while Albatross Soup is more well-known in the West. In essence, Turtle Soup is a compilation of puzzles that initially seem improbable or nonsensical. The quizmaster presents a surprise ending (puzzler), and players must deduce what leads to the conclusion (answer). This game features 64 mind-bending puzzles, ranging from easy to difficult, created by 15 different authors. It also includes an AI quizmaster for a single-player experience.
When it comes to this type of puzzle, it's crucial to think outside of the box! For example, in one scenario, a girl finds herself trapped in an underground mall with a body and a bowl of turtle soup. She appears to be stuck in a mysterious loop. Can you help her escape and solve the mysteries?
In another puzzler, a boy is found dead on a sidewalk, wearing only his underwear and holding an umbrella. What could have happened to him?
In a different scenario, a stewardess helps splint a pilot's broken legs and brings him fresh seafood every day. However, the pilot seems to be terrified of the stewardess. Why is that?
Turtle Soup contains a variety of puzzles, including suspenseful and dark ones, as well as lighthearted and humorous ones. Rest assured, there is no disturbing or unpleasant content, and you can skip any puzzles that you don't enjoy.
When playing alone, you must use your thinking, reasoning, and imagination to uncover the answers to these seemingly illogical and impossible puzzles. You can enter keywords or synonyms to help you, and you can even ask the AI if your keywords are relevant. If you hit a dead end, you can spend coins to immediately receive the correct keywords.
As you discover keywords and hints, the story will gradually become clearer and more visually appealing. Is the answer anything like what you had imagined?
