Game Mechanics
Our main game mechanic is the plunge bow, which has two primary uses:
- As a propelling object for Telmari, allowing her to jump faster and higher than usual when attached to a surface.
- To avoid enemies by assisting Telmari in jumping or flying over them on her journey.
While the mechanic is simple and easy to understand, it offers players multiple ways to approach a level. Some levels are designed to make it harder for Telmari to take shortcuts, so bouncing on arrows may lead to more dangerous areas. This caters to both skilled players who can attempt to beat the level as fast as possible using complicated combos, and casual players who can take longer but easier paths.
Some enemies in the game move faster than Telmari or block her path. In these encounters, mastering the arrow will be crucial in outmaneuvering them.
