Story

As you journey through the galaxy, remember to support your crew, follow your heart, and take care of each other. Along the way, you will encounter friendly characters and unexpected challenges. Who knows who you will meet and what kind of adventures you will have?

Gameplay

Customize your living space - Whether you prefer maximizing resource production with machines or tending to a collection of fresh crops, the choice is yours. With a variety of machines, decorations, furniture, wall patterns, floor textures, and paths, you can personalize your living quarters to your liking. You can even expand your living space and build on the outer hull of your ship.

Crafting, farming, and cooking - Utilize your workbench to craft useful machines and decorations. Grow, nurture, and harvest crops right on your ship. And don't forget to cook up some delicious recipes in your upgraded kitchen. Who knows, you might even be able to grow crops on the outer hull of your ship!

Befriend your crew - Your cozy space ship community is made up of families, friends, and singles who are excited to welcome you aboard. With a tight-knit crew of 20 to start, you will meet new friends through daily dialogues, sharing gifts, story cinematics, and mission objectives. As you develop these relationships, your tiny community will feel more and more like home.

Xeno - Hatch and raise cute little aliens known as Xeno. Show them love, attention, and food to watch them grow.

Restore your ship - Use your Restoration Ray to clean up small messes, and purchase upgrades in the Machine Shop to restore broken or vacant areas of your ship. These upgrades will unlock new features, crew opportunities, and help rebuild your ship community.

Explore new worlds - Your spaceship can take you to faraway and undiscovered planets. Scavenge for resources to build new machines, upgrade your tools, and complete missions. But beware of wild alien lifeforms that may not be so friendly. Keep your cool and use your trusty Laser Blaster to defend yourself.

Romance - Build a friendship, date, and even marry one of the 10 singles aboard your ship. Each one has a unique backstory and personal likes and dislikes. If you can win their affection and upgrade to a larger home, you can pop the question and have a lifelong companion to share your quarters with. And yes, you can marry an android, an alien, or a genetic clone.

Rank up to full-fledged captain - As a captain-in-training, you will rise through the ranks by developing your leadership skills. Mission objectives, crew morale, ship improvements, resource production, and microbe research all play a role in becoming a great Space Alliance captain. Each rank increase also comes with credit bonuses, new machines, decorations, or customizable pieces.

Microbe research - Good, bad, neutral, and wild microbes are loose on your ship. Use your Microbe Detector to collect them for research, crafting, or selling for credits. Can you catch and collect all the microbes living in your ship's microbiome?

Museum - While exploring different planets, you may come across amazing artifacts and gems. Meet Hermy, the exploration Hermit crab with a passion for collecting. Help him complete his museum's collections of gems, artifacts, and microbes for everyone to enjoy.

Player customization - Create your own unique look with a variety of hair styles, color palettes, accessories, and hats. Who knows, you might even discover the latest fashion trends in the universe.

Full controller support - Plug in your favorite controller or get cozy with your Steam Deck.
