About the game
GoKaDu is a unique retro simulator of a popular role-playing card game from the 80s and 90s - "Govno". This game brings back the nostalgia of the past with its classic gameplay and familiar characters.
At GoKaDu Castle, seven ghost friends gather to play their all-time favorite game - "Govno". As one of these characters, you must use your wit and strategy to gain power, manage the deck's budget, and arrange the cards as you please. For years, it was believed that this game could not be programmed, but thanks to the dedication of its creators, players can now enjoy it anytime on their computers.
The game consists of 52 cards and features a phase mode, along with crude language, heavy folk rock music, and an abundance of joy and happiness. The rules and game world are thoroughly explained in the help and pdf manual, making it easy for players to dive into the game.
The gameplay revolves around interacting with computer characters. Players must press buttons that contain recorded phrases, which act as their dialogue options. These phrases can be edited and checked for accuracy in the slide-out panel that appears when the button is clicked. The panel can be closed by clicking on the handle or by using the mouse wheel at the bottom of the window. Hotkeys are also available for quick access to phrases.
During the game, players can also summon additional characters to act as bystanders and spectators. This adds to the immersive atmosphere of the game, just like when playing it on the streets in the past. After completing the first set of cards, players can activate the Autopilot by clicking on the letter "A" in the lower right corner.
