Get ready to put your skills to the test and conquer some of the toughest challenges on Steam, all while enjoying the comfort of your own cozy room!
To begin, simply choose a puzzle cube from the menu or shelf, as demonstrated in the trailer. From there, you can hit the "scramble" button to start a timed solve, or play around with different moves starting from the solved state. This is a great way to practice and experiment with different algorithms.
Key Features:
- Cubies that have been solved will glow and be counted on your laptop, showing your progress as you solve!
- Save your cube state! You can come back to it later or revert back if you make a mistake with an algorithm. Each puzzle has its own save, so you can have multiple puzzles going at once.
- Build your own cube collection! When you successfully solve a cube, it will appear unscrambled on your shelf and you may even unlock a bonus cube. Use your mouse wheel to rotate a cube horizontally, or right click to match its angle to the cube currently in play. You can also click and drag to swap cubes around. And for a quick switch, simply drag a display cube onto the cube in play!
- Rotate the puzzle on two axes by right clicking and dragging, which covers most movements. This system prevents gimbal lock, a common issue in other puzzle cube games, by keeping the same two faces (blue and green, red and orange, or yellow and white) on top and bottom. You can also click the icon cube on the right to change which two faces are on top and bottom.
- Sometimes, the colored faces of cubies may be hidden. In this case, the inner faces are marked and you can right click to see a ghost of the cubie extracted from the puzzle.
