Evergreen: A Tree-Growing Strategy Game
Evergreen is a unique and engaging abstract strategy game where players aim to build a thriving ecosystem on their planet. With a combination of planting seeds, growing trees, and strategically placing natural elements, the goal is to create the greenest and most fertile planet of all. Whether playing solo or competing against others in multiplayer matches, Evergreen offers endless possibilities for players to explore.
How to Play
- Pick a Biome card from the common pool to determine which area of your planet you will develop each round.
- Grow your Trees, plant Bushes, and place Lakes to create a lush Forest. Use the power of Nature to gain extra Actions!
- Strategically place your Trees in the most Fertile areas to collect Light and score points. Be careful not to overshadow each other!
Each round, players will choose a Biome card to develop on a specific area of the board and activate its unique Power to grow even more trees. But don't forget about the cards you don't choose - the least popular biomes become more Fertile and valuable! Keep your Trees close together to score points for your biggest Forest, but also consider their positioning in relation to the sun to maximize Light collection.
Expansions
Expand your gameplay experience with the Pines and Cacti expansions, which introduce new plants that interact with light and shadow in interesting ways. Discover new strategies for creating the most points out of your forest!
Each expansion also includes a new Power, but remember that there can only be 6 Powers in the game at a time. If you want to play with a new Power, another must be removed. However, players can also choose to play with multiple Expansion modules at once for even more variety.

Evergreen offers various modes for players to enjoy:

- Local multiplayer (pass and play)
- Online multiplayer to challenge players from around the world
