Are you tired of doing your daily chores? Do you want to break up the gray, lonely days at your computer? Do you need something to interrupt your day for fun? Look no further than Desktop Pet Project!
Inspired by the wonderful invention of Shimeji, Desktop Pet Project has collected the most interesting and curious mechanics. You can summon up to two pets with slight personalities and give them names. Several cats of different colors are available by default, but you can also import your favorite Shimeji through the Shimeji Import Manager (downloadable shimeji, not browser extension) and customize your pet's behavior. You can also access the Steam Workshop to get community-created pets.

- Play mini-games with your pets.
- Pets need sleep, so don't interrupt their sleep.
- Pets don't like to be dragged around the screen, but you can move them with a treat.
