About the game

BOKURA: planet is a unique puzzle adventure game that requires two players to solve puzzles and progress through the game. It takes place in a different setting and has a new story, with different actions and challenges. Similar to the previous game, players must communicate and cooperate, but this time there is a new action: Push. With the push of a button, players can send each other flying, which can either help or hinder progress. The estimated playing time is approximately 3 hours.

Story
After Earth was destroyed, the remaining survivors had to rebuild civilization from the Stone Age. When they finally reached the age of space exploration, they decided to embark on a journey to explore the far reaches of space. However, due to the distance, they chose to send condemned convicts on the expedition. Unfortunately, the spaceship breaks down on the way to a red planet, forcing two crew members to make a crash landing. Both have their own reasons for needing to return to Earth, but will they be able to survive and make it back?

BOKURA: planet is the latest title from tokoronyori, the creator of Hitoribocchi Wakusei (Lonely Planet) and BOKURAtokoronyori. This indie game developer is known for creating unique worlds with a distinctive art style, filled with originality and mystery. Their 2016 smartphone idle game, Hitoribocchi Wakusei (Lonely Planet), was a huge hit on social media. BOKURA was created in 2023 as part of the first round of Kodansha Game Creator's Lab, and specializes in creating gaming experiences that are only possible through their characteristic game mechanics.

The idea for this game came to me while planning BOKURA. While I could have taken a completely different direction, for various reasons, BOKURA ended up the way it did. While I am proud of the decisions that led to BOKURA, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of scenery I would have seen if I had gone in the opposite direction. In the end, I couldn't resist and ran the other way, giving birth to BOKURA: planet. The view here is truly incredible.
