Boötes Easter Egg

Boötes features a hidden surprise for players to discover while playing the game. Completing this Easter Egg will not only reward the player with an achievement, but also with other in-game rewards as they progress through the game. Only the most skilled players will be able to uncover this secret, so good luck and happy hunting!

Boötes Storyline

In the year 2872, David, an astrologist, embarks on a journey to the mysterious Boötes Void, leaving his family behind. His mission is to study the enigmatic crystals found near the planet Loki II, located in the heart of the void. These crystals possess powerful abilities and could potentially enhance the speed of space travel. Accompanied by a crew of researchers and trained astronauts, David's team ventures to the dark side of the planet where the majority of the crystals are located. However, most of the crew succumbs to the harsh conditions and the location is later named the Cold Dark. As months pass, the remaining crew members also perish, leaving David alone. He manages to survive on his own for some time, but eventually decides to don a space suit and journey to the Cold Dark himself.

Boötes Gameplay

Your objective in Boötes is to collect 3 crystals in each location around the planet while jumping on asteroids. Each level will increase in difficulty as the asteroids rotate faster and faster, making it challenging for the player to maintain balance. Each crystal collected will grant the player new abilities and upgrades. For example, one crystal may give the player the ability to super jump, allowing them to jump higher for a short period of time. Subsequent crystals collected will enhance this ability even further. Additionally, players can unlock different suits by completing levels or finding secret astronaut suits hidden in the locations. These suits provide passive perks, and players can also add perks by collecting them from the dream world. The dream world is accessible from the player's base and offers a unique twist on the jumping gameplay. By collecting green cubes in the dream world, players can unlock new perks for their suits. The ultimate goal is to reach the Cold Dark and collect the final crystals to escape, but there may be other secrets waiting to be discovered.

Boötes One-Shot Mode

For those seeking the ultimate challenge, Boötes offers a One-Shot mode where falling once will result in game over. However, completing a level in this mode will grant permanent upgrades for the player's perks.
