About the game
AquaPhobia is a first-person game where cooperation and suspicion will be blended! Work together to complete various tasks such as; slaying a swarm of aquatic creatures or drilling a hole to gain access to rare minerals. This may seem easy, but don't forget that some people in your group don't want you to succeed and they will do whatever they can to prevent you.
AquaPhobia's universe:
In the not too distant future, a new planet is discovered at the edge of our galaxy. Although this planet's surface is mostly composed of water and rocks, its core is full of valuable minerals. You are part of the first colonizing team sent to this planet. Your mission: retrieve those minerals! To do this, you will have access to certain tools and roles.
AquaPhobia, not just another traitor game:
It is likely not the first time you have seen a traitor game... So why choose Aquaphobia over another more popular traitor game? Here are some reasons:
- Experience System: AquaPhobia has a complex experience system. To start, there are 3 skills where players can gain experience. These are engineering, weapon handling, and medic. The more you repair the electrical system and the higher your engineering skill will go, the more you use weapons and the higher your weapon handling skill will go, etc.
- Perma death: AquaPhobia has a permadeath system. If you die, you lose your character and all the experience you had with him. You will have to start from the beginning; create a new character, choose your role, your name, etc.
- Role system: AquaPhobia has a role system that gives you a slight advantage. In the current version, Aquaphobia has 3 roles; these are engineer, security, and medic. These roles give you a slight advantage for the initial missions because, as mentioned previously, AquaPhobia has an experience system. So, if you take the medic role, for example, you will start with an experience boost for the medic skill.
